Why parents start here:

• One loose layer is the rule for heat. The open muslin weave lets air move across the skin, so your baby stays cool and dry instead of sweating through something thicker. Bali sits around 28°C year-round with humidity that rarely drops below 75%, which is the weather we chose this fabric for.
• Sleeveless on purpose. Nothing bunching under the arms, nothing to push up. Just easy movement for crawling, napping, and being carried.
• Pre-washed, so the shrinking is already done. Loose weaves move a little the first few times they get wet. Getting that out of the way first is why it arrives soft instead of needing months of washing to break in.
• Holds its size through the daily-wash rotation. Cold wash, gentle cycle, then tumble dry low or hang it. No fabric softener and no high heat, and it keeps softening rather than tightening up.
• Flat seams for new skin. No ridges pressing red lines into a sleeping baby.
• Size up in the heat. Muslin is meant to hang loose. A roomier onesie breathes better, and it buys you a few more months of wear.

Does muslin shrink? A little, over the first couple of washes, as the open cotton weave relaxes and settles. Every onesie is pre-washed before it ships, so most of that has already happened by the time it reaches you. Wash cold, skip the hot dryer, and the size you order stays the size you have.
