We're Vanessa and Bob, and we design these clothes ourselves in Bali, so we know exactly how hot and sticky a first birthday party gets here. Muslin cotton has an open weave, which means air moves through it instead of trapping heat against your baby's skin. It wrinkles easily too, and that's normal, not a defect.
A romper is the simplest option, one piece, easy in and out, and nothing to bunch up once your baby is sitting in frosting.
The playsuit gives a slightly different cut than the romper, useful if you want a second option in the same fabric for a sibling or a backup outfit.
The dress works if you want something a little dressier for the photos before the cake comes out, and it still moves and washes the same as the rest of our clothes.
