We've dressed our own kids for outdoor ceremonies in Bali heat, and muslin cotton is what we reach for every time. The open weave lets air move so a baby stays comfortable through a long afternoon, and it looks put together in photos without anything stiff or scratchy. Here's what we'd choose for a wedding day, and why.
A simple dress that works for the ceremony and the reception, light enough that she won't overheat sitting on your lap in the sun.
