We make muslin rompers because our own kids kept sweating through everything else during Bali's rainy months. The loose weave moves air across the skin instead of trapping heat, and it dries quickly if it gets wet from a spill, bath, or downpour. It creases in the wash and on the line, which is just how the fabric behaves.
Our simplest piece for hot days, just the double-layer muslin and flat seams, nothing extra to trap heat.
Loose through the legs and arms, good for crawling or running around without the fabric clinging.
One piece with snaps at the bottom, useful for younger babies who need quick changes in sticky weather.
