Fabric comparison
Muslin and chiffon are both light fabrics, but they come from different families and do different jobs. Muslin is a loosely woven cotton that softens with every wash and holds up to daily wear. Chiffon is usually silk or a synthetic like polyester, woven tight and sheer, and it leans toward special occasions rather than everyday play.
