In a hot climate, babies often sleep better without heavy layers. A single layer of breathable fabric like muslin cotton is usually enough on its own, no swaddle or extra blanket needed. Muslin's open, loose weave lets air move through it instead of trapping heat near your baby's skin. That airflow is what keeps it feeling cooler than a tighter, denser cotton.
Our clothes are made from double-layer muslin cotton, two layers of that same open weave sewn together. We pre-wash everything before it ships, so it arrives soft instead of stiff, and it keeps softening with every wash you do at home. Seams are sewn flat so nothing rubs against your baby's skin, and every piece is finished with child-safe dyes and no harsh finishes. Sizes run from newborn up to about 4 years.
Wash muslin cotton cold on a gentle cycle and skip the fabric softener; it coats the fibers and works against the airflow that makes the fabric breathable. Tumble dry on low or hang everything up to dry, and stay away from high heat. You'll notice muslin creases easily. That's just how the loose weave behaves, not a sign anything is wrong. Each wash leaves it a little softer than before.
